About Me
Hello! I’m Monique Garcia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a deep commitment to supporting the mental health and well-being of individuals in New Mexico. With over 8 years of experience in providing counseling services, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate life’s challenges and find a path to healing and personal growth.
I graduated from New Mexico State University and have spent my career offering counseling services to adults and military members—groups that hold a special place in my heart. As a veteran myself, with 8 years of service in the military, I understand the unique challenges faced by service members and their families. My passion for mental health advocacy is rooted in my belief in the power of resilience, community, and the importance of mental well-being for everyone, especially those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country.
In addition to my work as a counselor, I believe that community is an essential part of healing. I am passionate about being actively involved in my local community and working to create spaces where people can connect, grow, and support one another. Whether through collaborating with community organizations or being a source of support for those in need, I’m dedicated to making a positive impact where it matters most.
In my practice, I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where my clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Whether you're facing the challenges of daily life, navigating transitions, or seeking support after trauma, I’m here to walk with you on your journey to healing and growth.
I believe that the road to emotional well-being is a shared journey, and I am honored to be part of yours.
